ORDER AND REASONS FOR ORDER

NADON J.

[1]         Since the applicant has been unable to persuade me that the visa officer erred in awarding him 0 point for the Occupational Factor, his application for judicial review must be dismissed.

[2]         The National Occupational Classification ("NOC") provides that a person who wishes to immigrate to Canada in the self-employed category as a "translator or interpreter" must have a degree in translation or in a related discipline. The visa officer concluded that the applicant's diploma did not meet the NOC requirements.

[3]         In my opinion, this conclusion was fully justified. Consequently, the application for judicial review is dismissed.
