PINARD J.:

[1]      This is an application for judicial review of a decision dated February 12, 1998, by the Convention Refugee Determination Division, which determined that the applicant is not a Convention refugee.

[2]      At the hearing before me, counsel for the applicant stated that his client"s application had become moot and therefore himself asked that it be dismissed.

[3]      The application for judicial review is accordingly dismissed.
