BETWEEN:

     MURALI KRISHNA TEDLA

     Applicant

     - and -

     THE MINISTER OF CITIZENSHIP

     AND IMMIGRATION

     Respondent

     REASONS FOR ORDER

(Delivered from the Bench at Toronto, Ontario

     on Tuesday, October 17, 2000)

ROTHSTEIN J. A. (ex officio)

[1]      Despite the argument of counsel for the applicant, I am unable to conclude that any procedural fairness issues arise here. I do not think that there is any general obligation on a visa officer to confront an applicant with concerns arising from the face of documents submitted by the applicant. This is not the case of extrinsic evidence of which the applicant would have no notice. Nor do the cases cited by the applicant deal with the facts of this case. The judicial review must be dismissed.
