EVANS, J.:
[1] This is an application for judicial review of a visa officer's decision that the applicant was an inadmissible person.
[2] The applicant's counsel, Mr. Jeffrey Danziger, did not appear to represent the applicant at this judicial review. The date for the hearing of this application had been set in January 1998.
[3] When the Court Registrar called Mr. Danziger's office she was told that Mr. Danziger was out of the country, and that no one was being sent by his office to represent the applicant.
[4] Despite counsel's unexplained failure to appear, it would be unfair to the applicant for me to dismiss this application.
[5] The judicial review of this application is adjourned to a date to be determined.
