UPON MOTION by the Applicant, the Honourable Robin Camp, filed February 21, 2017, for:

(a)   An order staying the deliberations and decision-making of the Canadian Judicial Council [CJC] regarding Justice Camp, pending full and final determination of the Applicant’s application for judicial review; and

(b)   Such further and other relief as this Honourable Court deems just;

CONSIDERING the Notice of Motion, the affidavit of Fiona Clarke sworn February 21, 2017 and the exhibits thereto, and the written representations of the Applicant;

CONSIDERING the written representations of the Respondent, who opposes the relief sought;

CONSIDERING the oral submissions of counsel heard at the hearing of this motion on February 23, 2017;

CONSIDERING the urgency of this motion, reasons will follow;

THIS COURT ORDERS that:

1.       The motion to stay the deliberations and decision-making of the Canadian Judicial Council, pending full determination of the Applicant’s Application for Judicial Review, is dismissed.

2.       No costs are awarded.
